Coming in 2017:
Writing with Susan Musgrave
Marianne Moore said that poetry is an imaginary garden with real toads in it. In this workshop participants will engage in writing exercises geared to freeing the imagination, making the ordinary come alive through the use of original detail, and letting go of the conscious mind.
Objectives: A consciously engaged mind cannot write poetry. You’ve been taught to think rationally, logically: my goal is to undo all that, and try and get you to think illogically, wildly – to have a mind without borders for the duration of the workshop. Open to writers of all disciplines.
